did anyone else watch the show more when they were small, and less by the time they'd reached secondary school themselves? i first watched it in 1980 aged five, and have strong momories of it. i tried to watch as much as possible. but by the time i was a teenager i had stopped watching completely.

shareI was 9 years old when Grange Hill began and it made me terrified of going to Secondary School. It didn't help when the likes of Gripper appeared in the early '80's!!! So glad I wasn't Roland or the guy with the Turbin!!!
