I'm American so I have'nt heard of this show until today. I was on Wikipedia and it compared it to Degrassi and Edgemont so I thought it must be a pretty good show. Anyone know where I can watch it?Also I'm a bit confused on how long the show's been running. Now I know that the same actors that were in the 1978 version are'nt still on the show(some of them are even deceased I heard)but if that's the case how does the show plot work? Is there are new cast every year or something? I'm confused by how they change the cast members so much.

Basicaly the show is about the school. So a new set of pupils are brought in about every 2 years. So the cast actuly age with the program.

Which is as it should be - can't think of any other TV show that ran so long with a rotating cast like that, but of course it makes perfect sense because that is why it is so realistic, like a real school. Unlike "Head Of The Class" which featured the same cast of ever-aging "high school students" LOL I stopped watching "Fame" after the first couple of years - did they allow the students to age out?
