she died, slipped after getting locked in a room with some trouble maker who had started a fire... couldn't find the episode in the summaries, does anyone remember the eppisode and/or the character who died?

a decade later it is one of the only things I remember from the show, it was all anyone talked about in the playground the next day

The character was Judi Jeffreys, played by Laura Saddler. A few years later Sadler actually died in weirdly similar circumstances after falling from her boyfriend's balcony.
