Glad METV is giving it another round

I record these to the computer using an OTA network tuner & use software that zaps most of the ads. I've saved the completed seasons 5 & 6 [hurl] so far to Blu-ray disks, but have a few gaps in S1-4, so I'm glad METV is showing them again starting with S1E01 on Monday.

Apparently S2 E23 the two hour flashback "clip" show wasn't shown on METV or else my DVR didn't record it last May. I D/L a low quality copy of parts 1 & 2. I hope they go in order this time & show all of them.

I agree with you. Everyone thought ponch was the star but when John did leave so many tried to fill in but it went downhill fast. I know it was late 70's and this show was fresh but just listening to ponch getting into an argument with someone cracks me up...

Ponch: OK sir put your hands behind your back

Badguy: what if I refuse to listen to you...pig

Ponch: OK turkey I'm only gonna tell you one more time

Badguy:you can't beat me COP

Ponch: OK I'm only gonna tell you one more time sir and don't be gettin up on me.

It goes on like this for another 5 minutes and I just laugh. Again the conversation's then and now are definitely different...

Starting 4 Jan 2016, they are moving the show to the 4:00 P.M. time slot (that 1600 hours for any military types; those of you not in the Central Time Zone, you're on your own to figure out your correct time) to make room for, I kid you not, Mama's Family. That show might well be remembered as the dumbest show ever produced if it weren't for the all time champeen, Married With Children.

Thanks for the heads up. I think my OTA DVR will pick this up since I have it set to series record, but I'll double check it.

I agree..to this day mamas family is so bad, I'd rather watch a porn from the 70's. It was only popular cause of its start on the Carol Burnett show. It was beyond horrible.
