I think he is really handsome! Even with the bad hair. Well it was the 80's after all. A Lot of the hair was bad back than! I'm thinking the casting call was for a blonde guy and he dyed his hair for the part. But his face is very handsome, and he's tall!! The guy is REALLY HOT I think!! And I LOVE his "Joisy" accent! Oh and that cleft chin! LOVE IT!!!

Oh yes, He was much hotter than Jon/Larry Wilcox. Those eyes, that smile, his chin, even his nose is nice . Damn , his whole face is gorgeous !!! I read his biography. He's from Bergenfield, New Jersey. He was a star football player at Montclair state college. He decided to become an actor, gave up the football career. Wow he maybe could have went Pro! He seems like a football player. He's a big guy! He's born in 1959, he's 10 years younger than Erik who was born in 1949! Wow they don't look like they are 10 years apart! When they are filmed together (I'm in heaven seeing Ponch and Bobby together) My heart goes pitter-patter LOL!!!Erik doesn't look 10 years older than him though! Anyway now he's not acting anymore, he works a blue collar job now!

It seems strange a guy that was a Star college football player, than gave up the football to go into acting, to pretty much just drop out like he did. I read he works at a Home depot type store or something in California now. ( I will find the link and post it). What I mean is the guy had a lot going for him. He could have went on to Pro football and even though he wasn't the best actor, he was good looking and things would have come his way. Even if it was TV guest appearance work or B movies. But he went into obscurity !
I'm wondering if he gave up the football for acting because he already was starting to party way back than, and he figured he could do the drugs easier as an actor than an athlete ( Drug testing and all, and having to keep his body and mind in really good shape to be an athlete)!
It's a shame cause he really was a good looking guy with a lot of promise for his future!

It says Estrada had a hand in selecting the new actors. So I guess we can blame him for the casting. lol
It was kind of sad, Tom had a role in Married with Children on one episode. I wouldn't have known it was him if it hadn't shown up in his credits on this site. His hair was brown and he only had one line.

shareI do too. I have a very old copy of season 6 on DVD and it is nearly unwatchable because it is so old and worn out. It has taken so many years just to get to season 4; I am afraid to think about how long it will take to release the last two seasons...if it ever happens.
