Did anyone see the BBC4 documentary about All Creatures that was shown last night? It was very interesting, particularly the revelation that Robert Hardy was unhappy with many of his scripts in the later series, and did not get on at all well with John McGlynn (Calum).
I heard on the forum that this documentary was on last night. Sadly I can't get BBC4 over here. I would have loved to see it though! Interesting news about RH.
It's a shame you weren't able to see it. It was only 30 minutes long, but they interviewed all the main cast and packed a lot of information in. I got the distinct impression that RH was not keen on the way the show changed when it came back in '88 - apparently he snapped once at Lynda Bellingham too. It was also interesting to learn that Christopher Timothy was nearly dropped from the show when he had his accident during the filming of series 1, and that Boris the Cat really did bite Timothy in a surgery scene, as well as scratching the actress who played his owner.
Does anyone know where or how this could be viewed now? Like Youtube or some other venue. For instance, when the Dr. Who Timecrash program was aired, it was available on Youtube and many other interviews, clips from programs, etc. are available.
A very illuminating documentary and well worth seeing for ACGAS fans although on YouTube, it's a bit truncated with bits missing. It needs someone else to post it in full!
