Extras on region 1 DVDs

Hi,
Does anyone have a list of the extras on the region 1 dvds of All Creatures? I know that there's an audio commentary on series 3 & I was wondering if there are any others on the dvds.

I don't understand why they left the extras off the region 2 dvds when the series was made here in the uk.

I have a mix of VHS and DVDs. I will give you the list of the extras on the DVDs I have.

The Specials - On location featurette and who's who in the cast
Series 4 - Christopher Timothy interview - John McGlynn interview and
who's who in the cast
Series 7 - Stars Reunited, a 54 minute special with everyone (except Peter
Davison)
Series 5 - Who's who in the cast

There might be audio commentaries on all the DVDs if purchased as a set - check Amazon.com because they list the extras on their descriptions.

There's one more I only discovered same days ago:
In Series 3 one show (the one where Siegfried reunites with Majorie) was commented by Peter Davidson, Robert Hardy and one of the directors.

Sycorax
"It's rather funny and really worth watching."

Series 1 contains a substantial 1976 interview/documentary of Alf Wight (the real 'James Herriot.') With the exception of the same brief bios on every set, Series 2 has no extras. Series 3 has a 5 minute tour of something called the James Herriot Museum. The Post-war Specials has a short BSF thingie which I don't remember being very interesting.

One of the later sets (either 4, 5, 6, or 7) has out takes. Sorry, I've sold my series 4-7 so I can't be specific. But the out takes included a few scenes such as a "dead" dog getting up and walking out of the shot. Peter Davison and Christopher Timothy dress up in SUPER VET costumes as a practical joke to surprise Robert Hardy.

The only Region 1 release with audio commentaries is Series 3: Episodes 6, 7, and 13.
