Just wondering if anyone else has downloaded the books from audible.co.uk.

I have read all the books, a few times and have most of the series on DVD.

I had to buy a new MP3 player recently and choose one that has music, radio, voice, sport and books, so knew I had to get these books. So far I have only downloaded the first book, these are very well narrated by Christopher Timothy and the play length is 6 hrs, so makes my bus journey to work every day alot more enjoyable. It cost £3.99 for the unabridged version.

Just thought I would recommend it.

Thanks for the info. This would be a lot more soothing to listen to than the usual radio fare, especially for fans of ACGAS.

The audiobooks are awesome. I have the CD's and have listened to them several times over again! I drive cross country once a year and always bring them with me. Never tire of hearing the remarkable stories of the Yorkshire vets and the people and animals and countryside they come to love. Christopher Timothy is a fine actor and his reading of the Herriot stories brings them to life. He reads with perfect animation and shows off a multitude of different voices and accents. He is truly amazing.
