It is NOW (as of June 26th, 2007). I just got done watching all 112 minutes this uncut and disturbing film. It's slow-paced and the gore isn't up there with today's movies (TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE remakes, etc.) or even Dario Argento's films...but it's suspense and builds to a gory climax.
I think most of the "censored" material that's talked about must be the real news footage used right at the top of the movie intercut with the opening credits. It definitely sets a grim tone but could have been trimmed from it's 7 1/2 minute length to say 4 minutes.
***Oh, I forgot to mention you can get this on Amazon.com or most places that sell DVD's online. I actually got it pretty cheap from AmazonMarketplace.com. Netflix isn't carrying it and I'm not sure if this will find its way to Blockbuster or other rental chains...but it's definitely worth checking out!***
