Charlton does not one, but TWO "dramatic sunglasses removal" moments that totally cracked me up. I actually rewound them (God bless the DVR) like six times each, because not only were they so funny just as a gesture, but there was no reason for him to remove them either time.
Seriously these moments should be frozen in a "cliche acting" time capsule.
Given that he was the STAR of this vehicle,Heston really should have used his influence to change scenes like that in the film.
That is...unless he WANTED those scenes in there.
Suspension of disbelief: Yes. Suspension of logical thought? I'll pass.
