'Don't get itchy. He might just be a drunk'

Charlton Heston, you are an idiot. The guy has a scoped semi-automatic rifle and is hunkered down above the scoreboard looking down on the whole stadium. Whatever he's up to, he's NOT just a drunk.

reply

I think Heston was referring to the guy who fell down the stairs as being a possible drunk, not the sniper.

reply

No he wasn't. The guy who fell 50 feet down the ladder (not stairs) was dead!!

He meant the loon w the rifle.

reply

I am watching it right now on AMC, and he IS referring to the guy who has the heart attack and falls down the stairs, and NOT the sniper.

The report comes on the walkie-talkie that they have a man down. Cassavetes and Heston hear it, and Heston advices him not to get trigger happy (or whatever), and that it is probably just a drunk who fell.

reply

as stated, it is painfully obvious he is referring to the man who has a heart attack after the other team ties the game

"Godamnit Jack Bauer. You really are the man."-Dennis Reynolds

reply

Painfully obvious indeed. Why would the police chief downplay the gunman if he thought he was "just" a drunk?

reply

You're the *beep* idiot. Watch the scene again, and ACTUALLY watch it!
