Remake coming!

I'm one of the few who love the movie in it's entirety. I'm not really sure how they could produce a remake during modern times tho and pull it off. The great thing about the original movie is that even though it was filmed in the 70's it was still believable to be taking place in the 40's.

There is speculation of the remake's plotline. that a copycat murderer pops up after a screening of the original film. That just sounds corny and far too much like "Scream". This film was never meant to be slick, hip, or tawdry. It was a gritty classic. Aside from some funny lines from the Police force there was nothing comedic about the original film. there was no nudity or an abundance of gore. So for now I do not support the remake.
