David Fincher - Remake

There's only one man who should be directing this and it's Fincher. Obviously with Zodiac which this new remake is going for in terms of style. It truly saddens me knowing this film is getting a remake. I know some are for it and some aren't. This is one of those underrated horror movies nobody really knows about. I feel like this film could have more potential than the individuals working on it.

Hey here's some underrated lesser known horror film. Let's have a crack at it.Like everyone does with the horror genre and dismiss it 10 years down the road. Everyone has a movie they would love to have make or have a crack at. Mine was The Town That Dreaded Sundown. Being a film major and knowing this film is being remade is downright disappointing

You don't like American Horror Story?

Here's my personal thoughts on Horror shows on TV. Take Walking Dead,Vamp Diaries and American Horror Story. There is only so much you can show on tv. Take Walking Dead.I want the zombies to be zombies out of like Fulci's Zombi 2. I want to see the terror of them ripping people apart.I know they show bits and pieces of it. But it's all cg. The point i'm getting at is.I feel like it's really watered down. The shows. They won't push the limit and they aren't as good as Tales from the crypt. Now a movie is much different.

You can get away with alot more.

Are you sure you've seen American Horror Story? Let's see: a school shooting, rape on numerous occasions (both female on male and male on female), Spock having sex with a dead body, the aversion therapy, Sarah Paulson trying to kill her unborn child by shoving a coat hanger up her vagina and the amputation scene was pretty effective.

If this remake gets the "Zodiac" treatment, it is likely to be an awesome movie...

I agree 100 percent with you but i feel like fincher is the best candidate for it.He was so meticulous about everything in that movie. I think zodiac is in the top five underrated films of all time.

Zodiac is the most engaging movie to come out in at least a decade(IMHO)...it is panned nonetheless, I hope there is enough documentation of the Phantom killer case intact and available to be as detailed as "Zodiac" was...

Zodiac wasn't panned at all. It has a 90% approval rating on rottentomatoes and most everybody I know who watched it really liked it.

It wasn't very financially successful in the states, but with overseas sales they still recouped the budget and earned profit. Not a staggering success, but not a failure, either. But it was far from panned, critically speaking.
