I've just rewatched this film earlier in the week and, although I liked it, the kill scenes still scared the hell out of me, the music score was terrible. The filmmakers should have used only ambient sounds and noises on the audio track.
Anyone agree with me about this?

I have to disagree. I think the music plays a major role in both TTDS and The Legend Of Boggy Creek

I thought Jamie Mendoza-Nava's haunting score was quite effective.
