One of Christopher Lees best performances for Hammer
Christopher Lee was superb in this. The movie itself wasn't bad, But it was nowhere near as good as The Devil Rides Out
shareChristopher Lee did do a nice job here, and it was great that he had a good amount of screen time. I can commend the rest of the cast as well. Fine performances all around.
I don't think it's a terrible film, but it's certainly not as good as many other Hammer shockers. If I were to make up a list of Hammer thrillers from best to worst, this film would probably be at the very bottom of the list.
