I've only seen the MST3K version, but it seems like she just disappears. I thought that this was strange, so maybe it tells what happened to her in the unedited version? I'm sorry; this has been really bothering me. Danke schoen.

Naomi Sanders (the mother), was sitting in the chair under that hole that the worms were popping out of. When Mick arrived back at the house with his torch, he discovers Naomi, still in the chair, covered with worms. Its kind of hard to identify her, since she is so completely covered, but Mick says "Mrs. Sanders, is that you?", and upon realizing that it is her, he gasps, and says "Oh-No!"
