Does anybody near Port Wentworth, Georgia, know if there is any locations still recognizable where the movie was filmed? Any spot? Like the house, the diner or soda shop where Mick orders the 'egg cream', or even the resturant where the sheriff is eating spaghetti? I love visiting movie locations on my spare time and I would love to check it out next time I'm driving through Georgia. I noticed 'route 17' goes right through the town in the movie.

Wow Someone else that likes to travel to film locations from movies. I thought I was the only one that did that kind of stuff.

I'd like to know the same thing. I'd love to know the location of the houses too.
