DVD VS. BLU RAY

I just watched a scene from the 2000 ''Image'' DVD of ''The Slipper And The Rose''. (The ''Slipper And The Rose Waltz''). Then I watched the same scene on the new ''Inception'' BLU RAY. The DVD does look better on a BLU RAY player,(One of the advantages of BLU RAY is it's ability to improve the picture quality of even standard DVDS, something I was skeptical about at first) but the Inception BLU RAY edition is miles ahead of the DVD. Yes, the film has been painstakingly restored, and technology has come a long way in 13 years, but there's no denying that the BLU RAY format is a great improvement over ''Standard'' DVD. The soundtrack has also been noticeably upgraded. This was the movie that finally made me go BLU (no restored DVD was reissued by Inception) and am I glad I did!.
