what does he say before he shoot the robber at the beginning with his derringer.

BTW it is a saying most people growing up in Texas or the West in general have heard for years.
You buy a pistol, then you have to find, or special order a holster that fits it perfectly. This can be a daunting task as the typical Peacemaker or Schofield revolver had a number of specific contours and you certainly wouldn't be safe walking or riding with an ill-fitting holster.
Incidentally, years before in the movie The Green Berets, Wayne acted with his son Patrick. Patrick also used a version of the same saying. Referring to how equipment he had on hand was just what the Army base needed, a bull dozer. "That just fits our pistol."
