Sondra Locke was really stunning

No wonder those theives and rapists stood in silence before starting to rape her.

But more seriously, wow! I've seen her in other movies, notably The Gauntlet, where she seems sort of used up and washed out. In other words, she looks a good deal older and not as attractive there. But not here - she looks beautiful, young and radiant. Those eyes! Oof!

I asked the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

If only she could act.

Plenty of stunning women in beer commercials.

Not stunning not a particularly good actress. She filled up space so not a total waste I guess. Come on OP, she was pitted against a wrinkled old grandmother for their attentions- a curvy saguaro would probably look good to that motley gang!

"a curvy saguaro"

Ouch! Prickly pete!

One of which was the uncredited Richard Farnsworth.

Richard Farnsworth isn't curvy.

One Oscar nomination early in her career does not mean that she was a good actress. What that signifies is that she was good in one film a very long time ago. Every time someone says she was not a good actress, you mention that one Oscar nomination over 40 years ago.

That picture of her on IMDB is hideous. That's the best they could do? I've seen her look far better than she does in that picture.

I'll bet Clint's seen her looking worse. :)

I think that's why she started showing up in his movies 8-).

I have to take jgroub's side here.......I always thought Sondra Locke was pretty stunning in this film.

But I think she looked good in the rest of Clint's films too......well, maybe with the exception of 'Sudden Impact' where I think they intentionally made her look a little rough around the edges given her character.

But man, she had a pair of legs.

As far as her acting......I also think her best work in Clint's films was probably this one. I thought she was very good and very convincing as the odd, sweet, naive, and attractive Laura Lee.

And as far as her other roles in Clint's films.....she's not necessarily bad enough to detract from the films. Afterall, she never made a bad film with Clint IMO. 'The Gauntlet' was probably her other best work with Clint.

I always thought that woman was as plain as paper.
Terrible actress too.

If it harms none, do what thou wilt.
