I assume she picks up all the newspapers each morning. Probably pays for them weekly or monthly or something like that.

Diana's the Vice-President of Entertainment Programming for a TV network in whose lobby the newsstand is situated. The guy sees her every single day. Diana's secretary probably pays a tab at the end of each month.

The newspapers are probably paid for by the network,and are therefore available to the staff.
