I wanted to ask why the movie will not be shown this friday on the TCM message boards, but I had trouble signing up. maybe someone here can sign up, and get a conversation going as to why TCM pulled the plug on the movie.

Signatures are overrated.
I've been told by a few people now it has less to do with the title and subject than the actual ownership of the print. No idea who own the film rights but apparently they pulled it from TCM back in April. Bummer.
