In the scene where Logan and Jessica are accepted as runners, they're told by the 'friends of Jessica' that the way to Sanctuary is 'always down'. It's around 3:55 here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMnLSyeYo3s After Francis shoots a water tank, Logan & Jessica end up on a freight elevator that takes them all the way to the top which leads them to Box. If they'd continued downwards, was there an actual Sanctuary they missed by their detour?

No, there's only one way out, and led straight to BOX...

The movie shows there is and was more than one way. Logan and Jessica made it back into The City

I may be a hopeless romantic here, but both ways likely led to the exterior of the domes and thus, Sanctuary. One way was the freight elevator. The other way was being flushed down the waste-water disposal chute. Neither way is pleasant.

I don’t need you to tell me how good my coffee is.. 
