I found the movie lagged in a lot of places, and the acting stilted, but my favorite scenes were when they emerged into the outside, discovering the world as it stood in ruins. It may have been the soaring music but found those scenes really effective.
shareMost film were slower paced prior to the "Star Wars revolution", where the original Star Wars film started reminding Hollywood about the fun and adventure aspects of films that they used to make.
That, and Logan's Run was in a time when there were a lot of artistic and heavy films coming out. So it is a little slower paced. It's not an action sci-fi film, but a more traditional sci-fi film.
The only thing I didn't like about it were the special effects. Thankfully there weren't many.
