Hi,

I remember seeing Logan's Run on TV a good few years back and the old man at the end surprised me when he began talking about his cats. I swear he said they have 3 names each and one of them was called Mestophalese(?).

Question is am I a nut job with a bad memory or did Andrew Lloyd Webber lift the idea for 'Cats' from this film? Or maybe, they are both referencing from another source?

Any help would be appreciated.

Your not a nut job, cats the musical is based on a t.s. Elliot the book, and this is referred to in the film. Hope its useful.
