I thought people got to 30 and died ? At the very end with the computer there is a runner who looks at least 50. Then the main runner compliments the face surgeon on how young he looks due to the surgery, but he looked late 30s at best. Couldn't they get real actors under 30 ? Or at least those who looked under 30 ?

Yeah, I watched this movie for the first time last night and noticed a couple of the Sandmen holding Logan prisoner at the end were closer to 45 or 50 than 30.
shareIt's been a while since I've seen it, although it looked like there might have been some extras who seemed a bit older. Both Michael York and Richard Jordan were in their 30s when this was made.
The computers in that city seemed to have a lot of bugs and glitches, so there were probably quite a few who slipped through the cracks. If someone could hack into the system, reset their life clock, then make periodic trips to the New You and lay low by mingling around the Love Shop most of the time. You could probably get by indefinitely, at least until the computers overload and the city blows up.
