I love this movie, but have to admit that the movie poster is one of the most misleading that I have ever seen.
I'm not even sure what he's crushing in his right hand, looks like a rocket.

Yeah I always thought the same thing. Plus the Kong in the poster looks almost nothing like the one in the actual film.

It's the front end of a jet fighter that he has. It's just crushed and on fire.
