over budget

Has anyone really looked into the problem with the budget. This script was much better than the original or the new CGI blown up movie. The Music by Barry, well cripe, How can you not get emotional by the music alone??? You can tell EXACTLY what scenes we done AFTER the budget ran out. The terrible fake snake...the hideous one time shot of the robot kong in NYC. If they had just played out the perfect emotional shots of the actor playing kong, complete with quick eye blinks...if only. This was 1976!!! Keep in mind another movie around that time and their silly graphics of a speeder going around in a circle or sand people reactions in rewind. Ah...I think they called it STAR WARS. The big lebowski just younger, but the same haircut. This movie had a chance to be a MUCH better remake, but the budget just was not there. I was 5 years old when I watched this in the movie theater with my father and I never cried as hard in my life than when jessica touched kong on the twin towers and he falls. The look on Bridges face says it all!!!

The Kong effects look pretty good, but there are no dinosaurs, and the island doesn't really look like a South Pacific Island with jungle. Just some regular looking deciduous trees. And even though it is technically New York, it doesn't look like they shot in a lot of scenic parts aside from the WTC.

When Kong is unveiled, it's look like an average circus compared to unveiling him on Broadway in the original and 2005 one.

That being said, there are some thing to like about this movie. I think Kong had the most dramatic death in this one.
