So dumb

Apes cannot swim. They would drown. Yet Kong swims across the East River from Queens into Manhattan and just happens to be able find the girl there. What nonsense. And the guy sees the twin towers and makes a connection to the 2 mountain tops he saw on the island which he will climb up. And Kong makes the same connection and does just that. Yet Kong won't climb the big wall when trying to get the girl back. This is why nearly all remakes and newer films are better than ones in the past

This movie itself is a remake of the 1933 film, you doltish troll.

A Superman without trunks isn't worth watching or reading about.

reply

1933? Thats almost 100 years ago. What was it a silent picture? This film was remade back in 2005 by the way

reply

No it was not silent and it kicks the Peter Jackson movies asss.

Kong's not really an Ape, he something else. Remember neither beast nor man.

i told you not to stop the boat. Now lets go. Apocaylpse Now

reply

Right...the real kong was not just an ape...some sort of Ape and man combination otherwise he would not walk upright in the 1st two versions. Jackson decided to make him a full ape/monkey. I think he was trying to remake Mighty Joe Young.

reply

I thought he walked across the river because of his size. It shows him walking across it with his head above the water. Does an ape need to swim, if the water is shallow enough to walk?

reply

You're too young to appreciate movies from the 70's, so why bother watching them? Plus, he WALKED across the river. And he found her because animals have an insanely keen sense of smell. I imagine one that large would have a colossal sense.
