This is by far my favorite Kong on film. In fact I would rather watch it ANYDAY over the 2005 version. Sorry, IMO Jackson's film is terrible! Visually it has momentts but still doesnt compare to the guy in an ape suit for me folks. I thought the fortress, ceremony, and natives in 1976 far out did the CGI garbage in 2005. Jackson butchered his film with CGI..... unwatchable.

Ya know. I'd say that the 2005 film is the better one in terms of conventional quality. But I probably enjoy watching the 1976 version more. It's just fun. It's a mess, but a fun mess.
