I'm Ordering the Ape - Drowned!
Apart from being a memorably hilarious moment, wouldn't flooding Kong's cage with enough water to drown him also sink the boat?

shareNo. Even a tanker heavily laden with oil would require a lot of flooding to bring her down. Buoyancy is a very powerful force. Would take more than flooding a single compartment (even a large one) to sink a large ship like that. Ships have been broken in half by torpedoes, with both halves remaining afloat for some time, due to air pockets caught in the structure that took time to escape. Submarines operate by flooding themselves to change depth. If there were any risk to the integrity of the vessel, no such order would even be considered.
shareOK, thanks!
