The UK Blu is gorgeous. Below is a link for visual comparisons of the old inferior DVDs versus the UK Blu-ray, which took the original, uncut camera negative, digitally scanned it at 2K and was digitally cleaned up and colour-corrected. The audio was also rectified and transfered at 48k. 48 minutes of excerpts from Mike Siegels brilliant, exhaustive documentary "Sam Peckinpah: The Passion and the Poetry" are included as well as deleted footage from Siegel's film.
