My first copy of "Cross of Iron" was the one released in 2000. I have sold it since but I could swear that the German nurse showed her boobs in that version.

I have the uncut Korean release but never watched it and since it is still shrink-wrapped and I am trying to sell it, I can't screen that version.

I watched the Japanese Region A Blu-ray topping out at 133 minutes and no boobs. I also could swear that the ending is different from the one that I remember. This version ends with only Steiner in a medium range shot hysterically laughing, apparently at the absurdity of war prior to being wiped out by the advancing Ruskie troops. I remember a "two-shot" of him and Stransky being together as they prepare to meet their demise. This is all very mysterious to me.

Has anyone been able to compare the lavishly complimented UK version to the Japanese A release?

I think I have the same DVD,

It shows a shot of a nice arse, and a brief glimpse of hooter, kind of a side shot

Details also shown on TV, admittedly after the watershed. Steiner must have been really devoted to his unit to pass up such home comforts.
