I don't know where. They don't really show crime scene photos. They (badly) recreate the crime scene in a house that looks nothing like the actual house with people that only vaguely look like the real people.

There was a scene where the actress who played Linda Kasabian was handed a picture while she was testifying. It was an actual crime scene picture of Sharon Tate.

reply

The picture was NOT of Sharon Tate, rather the actress who posed as Sharon in the film. as you can see here

If you Google Image Sharon Tate Death Scene, you'll see the real Sharon.

Just remember: once you see them, you can't "unsee" them.

I think the morgue photos are a lot more disturbing than the crime scene photos. At least in my opinion. But yes, as others said, it was a re-creation of the infamous crime scene photograph. Not the real thing.

reply

I don't know, but I've found some actual crime scene photos of it when googling. You may have to turn off Safe Search to do so.

reply

No.

The "crime scene" photos used in the movie are from the re-created crime scene from earlier in the movie.

The "crime scene" photos from the film have Sharon Tate covered with a blue towel, but the actual crime scene photos show no such object covering her.

Look at the actual crime scene photos online and compare them with a freeze-frame from the movie, and you'll see they're totally different. They did NOT use the actual crime scene photos in this film.

I can tell you, I've seen the actual crime scene photos and no they were not used in the film. There are a couple displayed on a bulletin board in one scene either during the trial or in one of the DA's offices. These are not from the actual crime scenes, rather, of the actors playing the victims.

yes that is true. The actress who played Abigail Folger is laying on her stomach on the lawn. In real life she was dead on her back.

reply

Yep. And the guy playing Steven Parent was splayed across the front seat of the car instead of sitting upright with his head thrown back. The guy playing Voytek was lying on his side, but turned toward the grass. Voytek was actually lying with his right arm extended above his head resting on the upper arm, the other lying down across his body to the grass clutching it. The actress who is playing Sharon isn't lying in the position Sharon was found, and there was no coffee table in front of the couch at Cielo.
