On DVD!!!!!! (Well..... DVD-R)

Just found Gizmo available on DVD.... it's a DVD-R so it's should be "a little better" than VHS. Maybe.

Anyway, I'm ordering it today and I'll post a reply as to the condition when I get it.

It's available from a website that carries TONS of old, rare and unusual movies. It's called TrashPalace.com.

It's been almost three weeks and I still don't have the movie I paid for.

The only answer I can get on the status of my order was...

"I make all of the DVD-Rs to order myself and there are still some ahead of yours but I hope to have yours out this week. I apologize for the wait.

That was a week ago. Still no reply as to the status of the order, all I got was...

I'll email you again as soon as it is sent out to you.

Guess the whole ting is a rip-off. I hope no one else ordered fom this place.

Three weeks and the order has NOT even been filled. That's some very lousy Customer Service. Polite, yes. Customer Service, no.

Well... 2 days ago (on the 15th) my movie was delivered. Just a "tad" over three weeks.

It is a burnt copy (DVD-R) in a hand-created DVD case. The DVD Main Menu was plain and un-professional. I've created more professional looking DVD's on my laptop. The movie quality was not DVD quality, but was better than VHS. There was some distortion along the bottom of the screen, which appeared to be from the original recording to a high quality tape, perhaps to a studio master of some sort.

All in all... "about" what I expected. I'm just upset that TrashPalace.com does not tell you that your order must be burnt individually and that they do not inform you for the extreme delay in receiving your ordere.

I give them a D in Customer Service and a B- for Quality of Merchandise.

damn that sucks. i bought mine on ebay from "heyvideo"
it shipped from korea if i recall. professional case and tracklisting.

i used soundrec32 app on my pc to capture audio and made a soundtrack.

if anyone wants all the songs (mp3 format)

just email be and in the subject line in all caps type ::GIZMO::

so the subject is easier to see. i wade through a crapload of spam.
