Not exactly. Not a bad movie though. Burt is very macho in it, that's why Archer likes it.

Like 8 minutes in, Reynolds is so hot.

Reynolds is suave and man at his most man in this. I can see why this film would appeal to Archer.

It's a good movie, but see White Lightning (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070915/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1) first.

Actually, I did finally get around to it and watched White Lightning. Can't really say it was good or bad. It is what it wanted to be and it does it well. I enjoyed it for what it was LOL

Still need to get around to Gator eventually.

White lightning is much better than gator. Features famous music score too.

I'm going to have to watch gator again but I remember seeing the two films just a few years back and thinking white lightning was on another level. It felt much more serious and stood on it's own while gator just felt more like a fun sequel.
