Ed Lauter
Does anyone else find it odd that Ed Lauter seemingly never ages? He looks almost exactly the same as he did 30 years ago! It's seriously freaking me out.

shareThe trick is looking pretty old when you're young.
And being bald.
P.S. Hitchcock hired Ed Lauter to play the henchman Joe Maloney because Hitch loved the 1974 football movie "The Longest Yard" with Lauter as the mean guard chief. Hitch tried to get Burt Reynolds to play William Devane's part here, and cast two additional "Longest Yard" guys in other parts.
P.P.S. Ed was on a talk show in 1975 and beamed with pleasure. He said he had driven onto the Universal lot to start work on a new movie, and was greeted with a big banner: "Universal Welcomes Ed Lauter to the Cast of Alfred Hitchcock's Family Plot." So he had that going for him, which is nice.
