The pretty brunette in the red dress who meets the Sunday school reverend at Abe & Mabel's diner is the late great Elizabeth Brooks who was so memorable as the sexy werewolf vixen Marsha Quist in Joe Dante's original "The Howling," which was filmed 5 years after "Family Plot."

It's funny, but the last time I watched Family Plot I was struck by how beautiful that actress is in her fleeting appearance. Right up to the end, Hitchcock really had an eye for the ladies! Thanks for telling us who she was.
