I am a huge HITCHCOCK fan but I hate some of his films (VERTIGO,THE BIRDS and PSYCHO).
I don't recall ever seeing this on tv but it was on tonight and I missed it.
My question is,is it hardly ever on tv because it is not very good,or is it dated or in bad taste or what?

No accounting for taste. Loved Vertigo, hated Family Plot. Sad to see Hitch in such obvious decline.
If you want to see Hitchcock brilliance in an underrated film, try "The Trouble With Harry."
"The Trouble with Harry" is definitely one of Hitch's better film's; too bad it's so underrated.
