Year and model of the black sedan Arthur and Fran drive.

Is it a Lincoln Continental or Ford Galaxie? Year? Are those suicide doors? Please help.

I've spent the weekend watching this great Hitchcock film over and over and this is the only question I have lol. (I guess it's because I'm fascinated by cars from the 70s)

It's a Lincoln, and looks like about a 1967 model, maybe later. The suicide doors started in 1961. JFK's final ride was in a specially adapted model.

It looks more like a '68 Lincoln. It looks less angular than the '66 or '67.
It's interesting that none of the characters in the movie drive a late model car.
