I mean, there have been some useless women portrayed in film, but Blanche in Family Plot really takes the cake. Not to mention how ridiculously drawn out that scene is. It's as if old AH realized the film was a failure in that point, and decided to make it into a comedy.

shareJust saw this for the first time today and liked it but I have to agree with you on that scene. It was flat out dumb. I was watching alone and literally out loud said "What the *beep* She's in his lap, her feet are on the windshield, she's clinging onto his neck. Way too over the top ridiculous.
