Marilyn Burns question
Why was Marilyn's character wearing a black wig?
shareThe first victim also appears to be wearing a wig (we surely are not expected to believe those curls are her real hair... although she has them in the old picture her father is carrying around so who knows).
The obvious fakeness of the wigs goes with the obvious fakeness of the lighting and sets. It all adds to the cheap lurid artificial queasiness of the thing.

Because she was the new Jan Brady.
During the 60's and 70's most females wore different wigs like hats. It was not uncommon for them to have more than five at any given time. My mother had at least eight that I know of. Sears and Montgomery Wards even had a special section for them just like they do for perfume/colognes now.
shareWig?
Sorry, it's Marilyn Burns. I was too busy looking at her arse!
'You punched me in the boob! Prepare to die, obviously!'
