anyone know where the village, beach scenes or the bar scene (where they throw the guy thtrough the window) was filmed?

If you look in the filming locations section on the main page all is revealed:

The village is in Berkshire (Mapledurham) and the beach scenes were filmed in Cornwall. The railway yard is in Rovaniemi in Finland.

The East Anglia village of ‘Studley Constable, Norfolk’ is actually Mapledurham, on the A329 just northwest of Reading, Berkshire.
