Has anybody read the sequel

Is the sequel any good ? I didn't know it even existed until today. I've never read a Jack Higgins book but The Eagle Has Flown sounds pretty good.

This is definetley one of the best war films of the 70's and the idea of another Steiner adventure sounds excellent I just wish they had turned it into a film.

Thanks for the info. I didn´t know about the sequel and has not read the first book. Seen the film plenty a times and your message inspired me to buy the books. Looking forward to read what the movie didn´t tell.

I read The Eagle Has Flown and I’m sorry to say that I can’t recommend it. It’s not nearly as compelling as The Eagle Has Landed. I found it very easy to put down and I totally understand why they didn't turn it into a film. Jack Higgins is a great author but he’s had his share of duds.
