the real star of the show was the dog...

I was laughing like crazy when they were trying to get the infected dog on a net connected to a helicopter, you got the feeling it could turn into an Airplane! type comedy at any given moment. To think i used to lap these movies up when they were the 'big movie premieres' on TV in the early eighties!

Hm....
I was happy to see the dog (a Basset Hound?) get away. I like dogs. Can't stand to see them in danger! :-)
Glad Burt and co. listened to the doctor to bring the dog to Geneva.

Why, when I read this thread, did I think about the final shot in the Peter Cook and Dudley Moore version of The Hound Of The Baskevilles, where you see a shot of the hound of the Baskevilles running with a portrait of one of the Baksevilles, and then a caption comes up that says "And the dog stole the picture".

Funny how the mind works sometimes......

Sooo glad the dog and Sophia Loren's career both
survived this flick!
And yes, the ending of "The Hound of the Baskervilles"
does come to mind.....
