She Found That Ball of Yarn Rather Fast, Didn't She?

I love this movie and just recently bought it on dvd. My brothers hack it to pieces like Mystery Science Theatre 3000 when they would watch it with me.

Even tho whenever I watched it, it had to be on regular tv (no disk or tape available then, and then I didn't think about tracking this one down) but apparently I memorized the dialogue from those viewings, so nothing was really new for me.

But I couldn't help but notice a few things.

Granted, Jennifer (Loren) could have found a little old lady knitting when Jonathan (Harris) said find a ball of yarn or string, but wasn't that incredibly convenient?

Did I miss something? Were we shown a little old lady doing knitting earlier in the movie?
