would people say this is a disco movie?
any actual reccomendations for disco themed movies?

I think the best example of a disco movie is Sat. Night Fever.

Thank god it's friday is a disco movie also

I wouldn't quite say it's a disco movie. It's more an old-school soul movie, but back then they just called it soul.

Thank God It's Friday is a good disco movie, is fast moving with lots of characters and it all takes place within a few hours like Car Wash.
