No matter how many times I've seen this movie, including the various theatrical release, video rental or network version scenes, I can never figure out something, why is it that Garrett Morris' character Slide (the one who takes bets) doesn't wear an orange work uniform -- he appears to do the exact same work as the other dryers who all wear one
Car Wash is one of my all time top favorites
Maybe he's higher than them, I'm just guessing. I love this movie too, never tire of seeing it.
sharethats a great question. My guess is that he was always on the move, leaving or sneaking away from the job to take care of his "outside interests". So it was easier to get in and out by just not putting the orange outfit on
shareare you actually looking for plot holes in THIS movie. They probably weren't budgeted for enough jumpsuits. This movie was obviously made on a major shoestring.
