Don't get me wrong,I love this movie but I always thought it had a pretty melodramatic ending for such a funny slapstick comedy. It wasn't bad, just different.

I liked it too, and now that I think about it, it did kind of build up to it. Car Wash is definitely a classic.

shareI love this movie too but always thought the ending was a bit forced. With the tone of the whole movie and just the ideas behind it being another day I think a more realistic ending would have simply been seeing the hooker dressed and heading out to the street for another night of work after a long day.
