He was such a talented man. I hate to see young lives cut so short. He also was in what's happening, and that's my mama.

Can anyone think of anything else he was in?

The film "Thank God It's Friday" with Donna Summer.

Ray also appeared in "Cruising," "Nine to Five" and "Airport '75." He was a staple on '70s sitcoms like "Sanford & Son" and "What's Happening." So sad he died so young and so violently.

I just found out her was deceased a few months ago. he was in "cheech & chong's up in smoke"
I was saddened & digusted to hear about his death.
